The cover cap protects the bearing from dust and dirt while covering fastening elements such as countersunk washers GN 184.

For fastening of the cover cap, the handwheel possesses a groove that is gripped by the elastic segments of the cap.

The cover cap is pressed on by hand and can be pried out with a screwdriver at the indented point.

The needle bearings are greased during assembly, providing ample permanent lubrication.
